Coromon Codex

Privacy Policy

The short version. Coromon Codex has no accounts and no logins, serves no advertising, and sells nothing to anyone. We measure page views with Google Analytics, our hosts keep ordinary server logs, and if you send us something through the contact form we keep what you typed. That is all of it.

Who runs this

Coromon Codex is operated by Freedom Games LLC (indie.io) as part of the Codexery network. Questions, corrections and removal requests go through the contact form.

We do not ask for your name, address or payment details anywhere on this site, and there is nothing to sign up for.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and tell a returning reader from a new one. For readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are switched off by default (Google Consent Mode), so those cookies are not set. Your browser’s local storage may hold small preferences; that never leaves your device.

Blocking cookies does not break the site. Nothing here is gated behind them.

Advertising

Coromon Codex currently serves no advertising and runs no advertising trackers. If that changes, this page will be updated before any ads appear.

Who we share it with

Nobody, other than the services that make the site work: Google Analytics for measurement, and Cloudflare and our hosting provider for delivery. We do not sell or rent data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your choices

Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, via the contact form.
Opt out of analytics entirely with any content blocker or Google’s own opt-out add-on.
If you are in the EU, UK or California, you have rights of access, correction and deletion under the GDPR or CCPA. Use the same form and we will action it.

Children

Coromon Codex is a general reference site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Where data is held

Our servers are in the United States, and Cloudflare serves cached pages from locations worldwide. If you contact us from outside the United States, your message will be stored there.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. See also the Terms of Use.
