Lemobi

It forages by night for seeds, fruit, and insects, moving in swift silent darts and freezing whenever it senses a watcher, so that it seems less to travel than to teleport from one patch of cover to the next. It relies wholly on stealth and speed, and it is a gifted little thief, slipping into gardens and even houses to make off with anything small and interesting. It practices its darting, tumbling movements constantly, even in play, and a young Lemobi at large in a moonlit garden is a blur of restless, purposeless agility, honing skills the Makinja to come will one day put to far more serious use.
