It drifts the cold night air on great pale wings, and the frost-crystals that coat them catch and scatter every scrap of light, so that a Glamoth in moonlight seems to trail its own soft radiance. It feeds on the sparse frost-flowers that bloom only in the deepest cold, drawn to them across great distances by a scent no other creature can follow. It is drawn, too, to light itself, and Fresia's travelers who leave a lantern burning may wake to find a Glamoth turning slow, luminous circles around the flame, an uninvited and wholly welcome guest out of the frozen dark.
