Kryo

It sits, mostly. It is very good at sitting. The rime that armors it is grown from its own slow-leaking cold, thickening in still air until the creature is half boulder, and it feeds by simply being where windblown seeds and frozen morsels collect against its bulk. Roused, it moves with glacial reluctance, and its one real defense is that cold shell, which numbs whatever bites it. On the rare warm afternoon its armor drips and it grows visibly anxious, shuffling into shade to re-freeze, unwilling to be caught without its coat.
