Skelatops

It plows the flats behind a broad bone frill and a set of forward-curving horns, and it uses that armored face for everything: rooting up buried prey, shoving aside rivals, and meeting predators head-on in a charge that few things survive by standing still to receive. It is slow to rouse and slower to yield, and a grown Skelatops has essentially no natural enemies in Wostin. Where it beds down, it scrapes out a shallow bone-lined hollow and lies with its frill toward the entrance, an armored door that closes the desert out for the night.
