Crimsonite Lumasect

It patrols the darkness on fast, humming wings, and it hunts smaller insects by simply flaring to a sudden blinding brilliance that freezes its prey mid-flight. That same flash is a formidable defense, and a predator that lunges at a Lumasect gets a face full of light and a jolt for its trouble. It is the coordinating heart of the swarm's great light-displays, and where a Lumasect leads, the Lampyre and Lumon follow its rhythm, so that the most spectacular of Donar's rolling light-waves are, in truth, one bright creature conducting a hillside of lesser lamps.
