Crimsonite Millidont

It grinds through the deep desert behind a battering armored head, and where it decides to go, loose sand and lesser obstacles simply give way. Its defense is legendary; the interlocking plates turn nearly any attack, and a threatened Millidont coils into a massive spiral that predators can only circle and abandon. It feeds by processing enormous quantities of tough plant matter and detritus, and its slow passage turns and aerates the sand across whole stretches of Wostin, so that this armored giant is, in its ponderous way, a keystone of the desert it seems merely to plod through.
